AMERICAN FOLK ART FIREPLACE PICTORIAL HOOKED RUG, rectangular form, depicting an interior room scene featuring a central fireplace with a cooking pot, mantel with plates, candlesticks, and a clock, flanked by two windows with potted flowers, a sitting cat to one side and a red chair to the other side, three rag-type rugs along the foreground, fabric tape binding to edges. Mounted to fabric on a wooden stretcher for hanging. Second quarter 20th century. Rug 40 1/4" x 27 3/4".
